James A. Funk

James brings over 15 years’ experience crafting and negotiating complex, multi-party transactions, to his family law and estate planning practice. Using his experience in bringing parties to consensus, James focuses on the short and long-term needs of the client, the underlying situation and the motivation of all parties to craft solutions that achieve everyone's goals. James is licensed in the States of Oregon and Iowa (inactive), holds Bachelor's and Law Degrees from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Marylhurst University. James is also the current President of the Jackson County Bar Association and a Member of the Oregon State Bar's Ethics Committee.
